Does every business pay the same?
Yes. These rates apply to every account, whatever its size.
Do my customers pay a fee?
No. They pay exactly the amount on your link or invoice. Any fee comes out of what you receive.
What happens to the fee on a refund?
A refund returns up to what your customer paid, from your Available balance. Payol keeps the fee on the original payment.
What if money doesn't go out?
If a payment to someone or a withdrawal doesn't go through, or you cancel it, the amount and its fee come back to your Available balance.
Are network charges included?
Your customers' and recipients' own mobile money charges, such as cash-out fees, are set by their network and aren't part of Payol's fees.
Which messages count?
Messages we send on your behalf, such as payment requests, payslips and alerts to your team. Invoices, reminders and receipts are always free, and a message that fails to send doesn't count.
Can the rates change?
They can. This page shows the current rates, and the fee shown before you confirm is always the fee you pay.
